What we’re about
The Unique Mind Book Club is a welcoming space designed for neurodivergent young adults who are navigating life with high-functioning autism, ADHD, or other spectrum-related experiences. This group offers a stress-free environment to connect, share, and engage in meaningful conversations about selected books and movies.
Each session encourages thoughtful dialogue, self-expression, and social connection in a safe and supportive setting. Parents are welcome to join the discussion.
Beyond discussion, The Unique Mind Book Club embraces creativity! Members are invited to share their passions and projects, whether it's voiceover work, storytelling, poetry, songwriting, short films, or writing a book. We believe in celebrating every voice and unique perspective.
Join us as we explore stories, reflect on their meaning, and express ourselves creatively.
Now that you have a sense of what this group is all about, I’d love to take a moment to introduce myself. This book club was inspired by my daughter, who is on the autism spectrum and has a deep love for reading and watching movies. Through her, I’ve seen how stories can spark imagination, inspire connection, and open doors to meaningful conversation.
I will be hosting our sessions, and my daughter will be joining me as co-host. Together, we look forward to creating a welcoming space where young adults can explore the places these stories take us, while also building community, sharing perspectives, and celebrating creativity along the way.
