Join The Unplugged Collective and Arbor for an intimate, hands-on sourdough workshop centered around community, care, and connection.
Sourdough is more than bread to us, it’s a living food meant to be shared. A starter is nurtured, passed on, and kept alive through collective care. In that way, sourdough becomes a beautiful metaphor for community itself.
This workshop is designed to bring people together to learn a valuable, generous skill-one that you can carry forward and share with others long after the day ends.

What to Expect
This will be a sensory, interactive experience with multiple stations where each guest will:

  • Work hands-on with sourdough from start to finish
  • Learn the fundamentals of maintaining a starter and baking at home
  • Engage all five senses: touch, smell, sight, and taste
  • Connect with fellow participants through shared learning and conversation

The experience is intentionally slow, tactile, and communal, just as much about connecting with one another as it is about connecting with the bread.

No prior baking experience is necessary.

You’ll Go Home With

  • A little sourdough starter to continue your practice at home
  • A recipe card walking you through the process step by step
  • A recommended supply list to support your future baking
  • The confidence to keep baking… and sharing… sourdough

Why Sourdough?
Sourdough teaches patience, care, and reciprocity. A starter thrives when tended, and it grows when shared. We see this workshop as a way to cultivate those same values within our community.
Come learn a skill that keeps giving.
