Soup as Solidarity: Unwifeable Collective In-Person Catch-Up
Details
Let’s meet in real life, eat something warm and soupy, and spend time together without performing, fixing, or pretending everything is fine.
This is an open, low-pressure, come-and-go in-person gathering for Unwifeable Collective members to:
- Catch up and check in
- Vent about life, work, family, dating pressure, patriarchy, or burnout
- Swap thoughts, strategies, and lived wisdom
- Simply sit together and eat — no agenda, no expectations
Soup feels right. Warm food, shared space, real conversations.
Current plan (open to change):
📍 BCD Tofu House
5 W 32nd St, New York, NY 10001
We’ll likely order soondubu / other hot soups, but you’re free to eat or not eat, join briefly or stay longer.
If there’s interest at the table, we can also talk about:
- The 4B movement
- What opting out (or partially opting out) looks like in real life
- How we’re each navigating pressure, resistance, and solitude
This is a space for women who:
- Are done centering men, marriage, or heterosexual dating
- Want community without forced positivity or social performance
- Value honesty, solidarity, and soft resistance
Come as you are.
Leave when you want.
Listening is participation.
If you’re unsure, tired, curious, or just want to eat soup with women who get it — you’re welcome.
