What we’re about

About this group:
We live in a world full of noise, surface-level connection, and endless small talk—yet many of us still feel alone.
Where We Begin is not a social club.
It’s not a mixer.
It’s not about collecting contacts or pretending we’re fine.
This is a space for women who are ready to build real friendship and community, slowly, honestly, and with care.

Here, we believe:
Friendship doesn’t just happen—it’s built
Vulnerability is powerful, not a weakness
Showing up is more important than being impressive
Everyone deserves to be seen and heard without performance
Some spaces are built to drop in and out. This isn’t one of them. This is a slow-build friendship culture. If you just want to test it out, that’s okay—but please know: what we’re building here is meant to last.

We meet online and in person to:
Gather in circles for real conversation (no advice, no fixing)
Tell and listen to stories that matter
Play and co-create for shared joy
Ask for and offer support without shame
Build trust, not just talk

This is where we begin.
If you’re craving deeper friendships—and you’re willing to show up for yourself and others—you belong here.
You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to be real.

Our gatherings follow a gentle monthly rhythm—because friendship needs more than one kind of space to grow.

  • Some weeks we sit in circle and speak from the heart.
  • Some weeks we tell stories or play connection games.
  • Some weeks we just share a meal.
  • Some weeks we make something together—an idea, a meal, a memory.

We rotate these formats to honor the many ways people show up: through words, through action, through presence.

Before you join:
Please know that this space values presence, care, and consistency.
If you’re unsure whether you can show up with intention, it’s okay to wait until you’re ready.
This isn’t for everyone—and that’s okay.
