About us

The Urban Frame Collective Mentorship Circle is for street photographers who want to grow their craft and connect with others who share the same passion. Whether you're picking up a camera for the first time or you've been shooting for years, this is a space to learn from each other, share work, and get honest feedback in a supportive environment. We focus on the real skills that matter: seeing light, understanding composition, reading a scene, and capturing authentic moments in the world around us.

We meet regularly to discuss our recent shoots, critique each other's work, and talk through the challenges we're facing. Sometimes we organize group photo walks through different neighborhoods to practice together. Other times we dive deeper into specific topics like working with available light, approaching strangers respectfully, or developing a consistent visual voice. The goal is to help each other become better photographers while building genuine friendships with people who understand why we do this.

If you're looking for a judgment-free place to talk about street photography, ask questions without feeling silly, and be inspired by what others are creating, you belong here. All skill levels welcome, all camera types welcome. Just bring your curiosity and willingness to engage with the group.
