Announcing yet another new group!!!!

Our amazing Urban-Woods Initiative member, Angela Ledyard—a professional photographer and wildlife explorer—will be leading a nature walk focused on bird photography at Magnuson Park in Seattle.

🦅 📸 BIPOC Bird Photography Walks:
Saturday, October 4th, 2025
9:30 AM – Noon
Magnuson Park, Seattle, Washington

📍 Exact meetup location: Park & Ride Lot, east of Ball Field #8, under the central parking lot canopy.

Do you want to learn the basics of bird photography, or are you ready to take your skills to the next level? 🐦✨ We’ll cover:
📸 Camera settings
🎨 Composition
💡 Lighting tips

Perfect for all skill levels! A camera with adjustable lenses is recommended (bridge, DSLR, or mirrorless), but it’s completely fine to just show up, listen, and learn together.

📷 The BIPOC Bird Photography Walks are free to join—no experience required, rain or shine! If you’ve ever been interested in bird photography or simply enjoy nature walks, we’d love to have you join us!
