Carl is a Product Design Recruiter and he’s joining us for a very real, very useful, and slightly nerve-wracking session on what hiring actually looks like from the recruiter’s side.
We’re going to talk about:
- What recruiters actually look for
- What hiring managers care about
- Salary conversations and expectations
- Common mistakes designers make while applying
- Portfolio tips that actually matter
And the fun part…
We’re also doing Hot Seat: Recruiter Edition 🔥
A few brave volunteers will get the chance to share their answers to common interview questions like “Tell me about yourself” live with the group.
Carl will then give real-time feedback on what’s working, what feels unclear, and how to make the answer stronger, sharper, and more recruiter-friendly.
So yes, it’s a little scary… but in the best way possible
