The Vedanta Collective is a space for the study and discussion of Advaita Vedanta, a philosophy of non-duality, self-realization, and enduring truth. We’re young professionals in the city who couldn’t find a modern space for this kind of inquiry, so we created one ourselves. Our gatherings take place on a beautiful residential rooftop lounge in Midtown Manhattan.
Each session, we aim to work through one of Swami Vivekananda’s lectures on Vedanta from his Complete Works, weaving in reflections from the Upanishads and from Western philosophers like Jung, Hegel, and Kant. Together, we seek to understand wisdom that can illuminate life today and shape the living spirit of Modern Vedanta.
This is a collective inquiry that blends reading, dialogue, and reflection, approached with humility, and open to seekers from all backgrounds.
