Book Discussion: Spider Woman by Lady Hale

Our book for May is Spider Woman by Lady Hale. It's the inspiring story of the woman who went from a small village in North Yorkshire to become the President of the Supreme Court. Most famous for finding the 2019 prorogation of Parliament to be illegal (and her distinctive spider brooch), Lady Hale spent decades smashing glass ceilings in the justice system and reforming the law.
