Spoken Arts: Poetry of Courage and Resistance

In The Spoken Arts series (Sunday eves, usually once a month), Prof. Ed will introduce poets and poems of different ages and culture, situating the words in culture with brief commentary. Each poem is an offering of the human voice, and each session will last about an hour.

Join us for a live meditation on the "voices great within us." This week features Ukrainian poets, poems by ee cummings, Maya Angelou, Rilke, Dylan Thomas, Anne Sexton and others.

All are welcome, the voice, deep within us, that we do not cry out will rise from the stones.
