*🌕 A monthly guided conversation with The Vulnerability Practice*

Welcome, fellow Human! This event is an intimate community space where we transmute life's difficult or embarrassing **L**ows into **L**essons towards growth and connection.

If you're ready to get a little vulnerable, join us for a guided conversation on our first prompt: **"A Time I Felt Uncertain About My Future..."**

Sharing your story is not mandatory but participation (even silently) is. A few words of encouragement in the chat or a ❤️ while someone is speaking can go a long way in supporting someone else's experience.

**👩‍🏫 EVENT STRUCTURE**

* *A Safe Revelation*: A fun, light-hearted check-in to get us talking about ourselves in a low pressure way
* *Session Overview*: Setting expectations so we're all on the same page
* *Guided Sharing*: An invitation for participants to respond to the meeting prompt. You choose if/what you share.
* *Supportive Reflection*: No fixing, no judging. After each share, group members may respond in the following ways:
*1) Acknowledgement*: Validating the difficulty of being vulnerable in the speaker's situation or how they may have felt at the time (i.e. "I understand why it would be confusing...", "It must have been lonely when...", etc.) **AND/OR**
*2) A Perspective Shift*: Offering to help each other see things in a different light ("You showed more strength than you realized...", "That choice may have been difficult but it led you to...")
* *A Closing Insight*: Something you want to take with you from this session or leave with the group. Bonus points if it starts with an L! 😊

🫂 **THIS EVENT IS FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO**

* practice emotional presence in meaningful conversations
* feel less alone while navigating life's challenges
* reflect on their experiences with clarity
* explore self-awareness and personal growth
* share without fear of judgment
* build real connections and learn supportive listening

No experience with “healing work” or sharing circles is needed. Just come with an open heart, your lived experience, and a journal (if you'd like).

🚫 **WHAT THIS SPACE IS NOT**
This group is NOT therapy and does not replace professional mental health treatment. We also DO NOT allow...

* judgment
* unasked for advice-giving
* gossip
* pressure to share
* interrupting or dominating the space
* intensely triggering topics or traumatic oversharing (If you need support with these, it may be best to seek professional mental health services. There's no shame in asking for help.)

***Disrespect is grounds for immediate removal from the event and/or group.***

**🔔 LOGISTICAL DETAILS**

* *Group Size:* Limited to 12 participants for intimacy
* *Cost:* $10 via Paypal or Venmo to cover meetup costs and encourage commitment

If you don't know how to be vulnerable yet, that's okay! When Humans support each other with warmth and authenticity, transformation just kinda happens naturally over time. 😊
