**How To get there :**

If you are using google maps just click the above link and it will take you straight there. If no google then take the N81 out of Dublin heading for Baltinglass via Blessington. As you arrive in the town turn left just past the Supervalu and then follow that road all the way into Tinahely. As you enter the village past the Centra shop on your left. Then take 2 quick left hand turns and then follow the road around to the right. You will soon see a big green sign "Railway walk". Turn right and then the car-park is on your left hand side about 200m down the road. If you live in the Bray/Greystones area then the best route is to take the M11 south to Arklow and follow the signs to Tinahely from there. Best way to get there is by car so if you can offer/require a lift please mention it in the comments section.

**About the walk : Grade 3.5**

The walk starts on the Tinahely loop and then finishes up on the Ballycumber. We start with a ramble through the forest for about 40 mins or so before taking a track to link up with Ballycumber loop via a short road walk and a gradual climb of about 1.5 kms.

From there we will begin a descent right down to the bottom of the valley for a stop off for lunch . After lunch we continue to follow the loop via 2 more gradual climbs before beginning a descent back to the carpark. Good footwear and poles are advisable for the walk and don't forget plenty of water and some lunch as well. The walk will stop from time to time to regroup. We should be on the first loop for 90 mins or so and then about 2 and a half hours on the second loop roughly. The walk follows woodland trails, forest tracks and you can expect to see some gorgeous views along the route.
