Picture the Scene... Once Upon a Pub!

Hi there! 👋

For this session, we'll be using beautiful and complex works of art 🎨🖼️ to inspire your writing ✍️.

Works of painting and photography 📸 will help you see stories from different perspectives and develop new characters.

You'll have the opportunity to discuss the images casually and then try your hand at writing some poetry and prose 📝✨, plus take away suggested resources to keep developing your writing further.

The session will be hosted by teacher, writer, and general fiction lover, Stu 📚.

If you're already writing something, great! 🙌 And if you're approaching the page for the very first time—that's great, too! 🌱

Whoever you are, we'd love you to come and join us 💫.

When you arrive, please feel free to buy yourself a drink at the bar 🍷☕🍺, then join us in the upstairs function room to say hello to some new, friendly faces before we begin 😊.
