Community Planting Day at Shields-Reid Park

Join The Watershed Project for a community planting day at Shields-Reid Community Center! Help us celebrate the end of the year by planting native plants, caring for the park’s pollinator garden and bioswale, and learning more about the plants that support our local habitat.
Come get your hands dirty, meet your neighbors, and help keep this beautiful community space thriving!

All ages and experience levels are welcome. Gloves and tools will be provided. Please wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and clothes that can get dirty. Bring a water bottle and sun or rain protection.
