Potrero Ridge Open Space and Trails - a Gentler Hike

There are some interesting trails in Newbury Park in the Potrero Ridge Open Space. We'll visit some of them, and show you where there are others so you might explore them on your own. They're right in the backyards of many Newbury Park residents, yet many of us don't know about them (yet)!

Optional lunch follows the hike, for those who are interested.

Statistics: 5 miles with estimated 1000' of climbing (this area is quite hilly).

Directions: From the 101 freeway in Thousand Oaks, exit at Ventu Park Rd and turn south. In a half mile, turn right onto Lynn Rd. Continue 1.5 miles on Lynn, turn right onto Helga Ct and drive a block to the cul-de-sac.
