Sherwood Forest ~ Los Robles Scenic Loop - Gentler Friendly - Not Beginner

Details
This week we’ll hike about 5.5 miles with 950’' of total elevation gain, spread out nicely, with a little bonus loop through Oak Creek Canyon.
"Robles" is Spanish for oaks, and we'll see plenty of them on this beautiful, relaxing hike. After a short street walk to get to the trailhead, we'll hike along Los Padres Trail through Sherwood Forest- a wooded patch shaded by huge oak trees. We will swing out onto an arcing side trail for a sweeping view of Thousand Oaks before heading back across the grasslands and into the woods again.
