Ventura Promenade/Pier to Emma Wood Beach FUN Walk❣️ 🌊🌤️ 🏃‍♀️

The temperature at Ventura beach area will be in the 70’s until 1 pm.
We will stroll along the Ventura Pier and Promenade. The promenade is a means to instantly get the get the local flavor, people watch, and meander along the beach. It also abuts the fairgrounds and horse stables along the beach, enroute to a rocky point about a mile between the Ventura Pier and the mouth of the Ventura River, which is super popular for surfers and bird watchers. We will then continue to walk through the bike path to the Emma Wood Beach trail. The trail is on the other side of the Ventura River estuary and it encompasses this area of wetlands, cobble-and-sand beach, and a wave-pounded stretch of coastline in a 1.5-mile loop.

Lastly, we will have an optional lunch at “Beach House Restaurant” on the Pier or return back to the car.

It’s about a 6 mile fun walk.
