COSF Presents: Climate Café Conversation
Details
Please join Conejo Open Space Foundation and Victoria Clayton for an uplifting Climate Café conversation
Please join us May 6 for one of two live online discussions about climate change in the second of COSF's 2026 Speaker Series.
Your host Victoria Clayton is a member of the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America and a trained Climate Café facilitator. She’s a professional writer who often covers mental health and environment.
The Climate Café offers a nonjudgmental space to discuss feelings about climate change and will be led by Victoria Clayton, a trained facilitator. The Café is intended to help participants build emotional resilience and feel less isolated. It's not meant to be therapy, but rather to allow participants to open the door to their emotions regarding the climate emergency; this is not a place for activism or organizing; you'll just focus on how you feel.
Two separate discussions will be held Wednesday, May 6, either at 6:00 pm or 7:15 pm, via Zoom. To take part, register for your preferred time. Each session will involve live conversations and is limited to 12 participants. The Zoom discussions will NOT be recorded for later viewing.
Victoria Clayton is a trained Climate Café facilitator and a journalist who covers mental health and the environment.
Held quarterly since 2019, the COSF virtual Speaker Series has included wildlife experts Dana Stangel, Dr. Dan Cooper, Dr. Seth Riley, Dr. Jessica Sanchez, Dr. Julie Morley and the National Wildlife Federation’s regional executive director Beth Pratt, as well as climate authority Dr. Sean Anderson.
To sign up for this event, go to the registration page on the COSF website. While this is a free event, COSF encourages a donation of $10 to support future Speaker Series presentations. We will send instructions on how to join the webinar before the event. Attendance is very limited, so please sign up now!
