What we’re about
Many young professionals and workers from India who live far from home often feel isolated or disconnected. Being away from family and familiar surroundings can be challenging, and everyone needs friendship, laughter, and a place where they truly belong. This meet-up group is created to provide that space — a place to connect, share stories, enjoy one another’s company, and renew hope.
Church is not just a place of worship; it is also a home, a community, and a space where you are valued and welcomed as you are. As a priest and a father in faith, I would love to offer hospitality, friendship, and a listening ear, and together we can grow a loving, sharing community. You are very welcome to attend, share your experiences, and make new connections.
I am Fr Michael Nayagam, a priest in the Church of England serving the South Croydon Benefice, which includes St Peter’s Church and St Augustine’s Church in South Croydon. You are welcome to attend one of our services or to see me on Sundays after 12 noon at St Peter’s Church. Please feel free to write to me as well — you do not have to feel alone.
