Adventure in Upper Hutt: Staglands, Panhead Custom Ales, Expressions Whirinaki

• What we'll do:
Lockdown was tough and a lot of us probably got out of the habit of exercising regularly during it. So, let's ease back into things with a really simple walk, then ruin all of the calories we've burned with a WoaP burger!

The plan will be to meet up at Staglands at 9:30 in the morning (right when they open), spend approximately 2.5 hours there walking around and feeding the animals, then we'll head to Panhead Custom Ales in Upper Hutt for their burger.

The entry fee for Staglands is $24 per person.
The WoaP burger at Panhead is $25 and is described thusly:

"The Midnight Sandwich Run:

Smoked pork belly with Fix & Fogg peanut sauce, honey cured bacon, Memphis slaw, green banana and grape jelly in a toasted pretzel bun, with fried dill pickles and comeback sauce."

Of course, you are welcome to have anything else on the menu too :)

Lastly, in the afternoon, we'll go to Expressions Whirinaki to check out the Andy Warhol-inspired exhibition "Pop Garden" and perhaps even make our own silkscreen prints:

We'll stay there until 3:45 p.m., at which point we'll wrap up the event and head back to Wellington!

• What to bring:
Water, appropriate clothing, suitable footwear, and sunscreen. This is an easy walk and more of a social outing so preparation should be minimal. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments below. Cheers
