We will have fun playing a competitive games of Pinochle, Canasta* or other card games members want to introduce. (* To sign up for Canasta please join "Western Suburbs Friends and Singles" for Canasta games.)
There are many variations of pinochle and canasta*. We just need to learn the basics first. There are many websites on both, and they all teach the basics, such as what counts as meld, trump, and pointers.
For the experienced pinochle players, we do follow the basic must follow suit, must beat the trick, and must trump rules. http://www.pagat.com/marriage/pinmain.html#takingtricks
In Canasta,* we play the American version. You can play online with Game Velvet, canasta junction, and others. Please familiarize yourself with the game if you never played. If you are experienced, please sign up, we need you.

It is easy to join, so for that reason guests are not encouraged. If you have a friend that wants to join us, they must register on the website, this is for safety reasons.
