Welcome to my HERBAL JOURNEY event series. I am a local herbalist in Calgary, trained by various local herbalists and enhanced by loads and loads of research. I seek to learn constantly and add to my breadth of knowledge. I am excited to share my knowledge with others.
This part of my HERBAL JOURNEY event series we will go on walks in a variety of city parks to learn about the plants that grow naturally in our climate.
At a plant walk you can expect to learn about:
- where can we forage and what should we look for in a location
- learn about 4+ plants and how they can be used as food or medicine
You can expect to learn about different plants at each event and also get a deeper understanding on the ones you may have already learned about.
At this event, we will be meeting on the west side of the parking lot, near playground and washrooms (look for black and white polka dot jacket).
