Oak And Deno: Can This New Tree Grow To Rival Express.js And Node.js?
by Aleksandr Podyachev
Abstract:
Deno is a standalone runtime for JavaScript. Deno has some
great features that give it some advantages over Node.js. Deno has
TypeScript compiling built into Deno so that it can run TypeScript as
well as JavaScript. Deno also has security by default where some actions
cannot be completed without permission from the user. Oak is a popular
framework in Deno for handling HTTP requests.
