Elements of Magick - Prosperity Jar Workshop
Details
Who doesn't need prosperity?
February is a wonderful time to plant the seeds for prosperity. The Farmer’s Almanac refers to the February Moon as the Snow Moon. The waning moon is the perfect time to plan for the rising Earth energy in the coming months of new Spring growth.
Join us at this experiential workshop to create, sustain and enhance your current prosperity through the creation of your own personal prosperity jar.
The prosperity jar focuses your energy on recognizing and validating your current prosperity and to recognize that prosperity, like the rune Fehu, requires the exchange of energy to grow. In honor of Fehu, feel free to bring and share your own harvested dried herbs, crystals and other prosperity symbols or items to share. A part of this workshop is sharing our gifts with each other. After the workshop, the jar you create (or refresh if you already have one) will go home with you to keep the prosperity growing throughout the coming year.
What to bring:
- A medium-to-large size jar with a lid that closes and is large enough to reach in and extract a piece of paper or other items. If you have a working jar already that you'd like to refresh, you may reuse that along with your pennies, crystals, etc. that are currently in it.
- a blank, non-voided personal check (or surrogate form) with you that you will write out to yourself as a prosperity check. The check will be added to your own prosperity jar and go home with you. You can also add a check later once you return home.
- 50 pennies (circulated, not new)
- dried prosperity herbs to share from your own supplies or garden if you have them
- a prosperity or manifestation crystal if you have one (examples: Aventurine, Malachite, Green Jade, Iolite, Red Garnet, Iron Pyrite (fool's gold), Golden Tiger’s Eye, Clear Quartz, Herkimer, Citrine)
- note-taking materials
If you do not have supplies to share, no worries! Just bring yourself and your jar and some extra pennies. All other supplies will be provided at the workshop.
We provide light snacks to share. You are also welcome to bring a snack to share if you’d like. We also frequently bring our traveling shop of new and gently used items. We accept donations of magick/witchcraft items as well! Cash and PayPal are accepted.
Note: *** An RSVP here does not guarantee a spot in the class. *** Please register on EventBrite here: https://www.eventbrite.com/. - link to be included as soon as it's available.
