I cut my culinary teeth catering for entertainers such as The Eagles, Rolling Stones, George Straight, Willie Nelson, etc. In 2012, I started the Reno/Tahoe based and wildly successful catering company the Big Blue Q of Tahoe.

With our mobile kitchens hitting the road several times a week all year long, it became a beast doing 150-175 events a year! While the mobile kitchens were somewhat of a luxury in our industry, they are also limited in how you can present your food and what food you can serve. The client picks their meal and rightly so.

There are so many menu items that I've wanted to serve and rarely got the opportunity. After 13 years of pulling a mobile kitchen, loading and unloading and loading again, it was time to make the big move to a brick and mortar location. Hence the Reno Bar and Grill was born!
