Welcome to Eckankar in Manitoba and our monthly ECK Light and Sound Service. Our theme for December is ‘Travel in the God Worlds for a Happier Life Today’.
Here is the contemplation seed and quote for our service:
“Despite the teachings of Buddha, who was one of the first to succeed in establishing desire as the problem of man, few have ever reached the desireless state. But we know that there is only one way to establish ourselves in it, and this is through the ECK, that marvelous Sound Current flowing out of the throne of God and touching all things within Its universes.
When we have consciously entered into this state, all things become possible for us. The very key to the spiritual worlds is placed in our hands and we open the door to enter them. There is no other way except through the Living ECK Master, who places the key in our hands.”

Our ECK Light and Sound Services offer you an opportunity to explore your own inner worlds and direct connection with the Divine.
During the event, in small break-out groups, you’ll have an opportunity to share your understsnding and experiences on how this divine gift of love is expressed and uplifts. With this inspiration, we’ll experience singing the sacred sound of HU, a love song that opens the heart to divine love and inner guidance. HU will be sung for 10-15 minutes followed by a brief period of silent contemplation.

** An Invitation to Sing HU **
You’re also invited to try this simple spiritual exercise of HU ..now.
To do the exercise, get comfortable; close your eyes and gently put your attention on your inner visual screen, between and just above the eye brows.
With eyes closed, sing HU..(pronounced like the word hue), as a song of love. You can sing it softly aloud, or quietly to yourself for several minutes. Then listen.. in a silent contemplation.. to the inner flow of the Sound Current.
