El Colectivo de Mujeres Meeting #1; Women Who Run with the Wolves Intro

For the first meeting of El Colectivo de Mujeres, we are going to start the first chapter "Chapter One, The Howl: Resurrection of the Wild Woman" of the book Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. This book is a collection of folk stories, centering women, from all around the world and enchantingly lets us connect to the experiences we collectively cultivate throughout our life. As the sun sets, we will then discuss how this story may or may not resonate and why?

This is meant to be a way to introduce the group to an incredible book and share experiences as women, be seen by other women and get to know the heart of our womanhood together.

Para la primera reunión de El Colectivo de Mujeres, vamos a comenzar con el primer capítulo, "Capítulo Uno, El Aullido: Resurrección de la Mujer Salvaje", del libro Mujeres que corren con los lobos de Clarissa Pinkola Estés. Este libro es una colección de cuentos populares centrados en las mujeres de todo el mundo y, de forma encantadora, nos permite conectar con las experiencias que cultivamos colectivamente a lo largo de nuestra vida. Al atardecer, discutiremos cómo esta historia puede, o no, resonar en nosotras y el porqué.
Esta actividad está pensada como una forma de introducir al grupo a un libro increíble, compartir experiencias como mujeres, ser vistas por otras mujeres y conocer juntas el corazón de nuestra feminidad.
