The Wonder Compass Nature Photography Womens Groups Are:
Beginner Friendly! Simply bring any camera you prefer.

Camera Phones, DSLR's or Film Cameras Welcome.
Please have a general working knowledge of your camera equipment.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

I will begin with a brief introduction about this practice.

We will go over a deep breathing and walking meditation (Completely optional if you want to use it.)

Each walk will have a theme and "Assignment" for the day's photos.
(Optional - You can always shoot what you want and wander how you like.)

Journals are provided for inspirations or thoughts as you walk, or to answer the day's assignment and the question provided.
(Consider bringing a backpack or purse if you want to carry the provided Journal & Pen - Totally optional.)

This is a mainly silent (unless speaking is required) hike to allow each member to sink deeply into a walking meditation and connection with nature.
The walk is a focused time for you to immerse yourself in nature and practice deep mindful breathing while walking & taking photos.

For this location we will meet - connect - wander into the rose garden. At the end we will meet to discuss our experiences.

$20 Cash Per Event (Guiding and Facilitating women's groups is my sole income. I appreciate the support as I grow my business.) Exact Cash only at the event please.

AFTER YOU RSVP: I will message you a Link to a Google Doc to Print about this event. Includes: Wonder Compass Method information. The Assignment for this walk. Flow journaling prompts. Technical photo tips, and more. Feel free to print, and bring along or save for journaling afterward.

RAIN OR SHINE EVENT : Please bring appropriate clothing & hiking shoes.

KINDLY MEET AT THE GIFT SHOP ABOVE THE ROSE GARDEN. SUN WILL SET AT 8, so we have plenty of soft light and time to wander and shoot!

PARKING: Please Plan to Arrive Early. Parking on this peak day will be challenging! If you can take other forms of transportation it might be wise.

DOGS WHO ARE VERY FRIENDLY WITH HUMANS OR OTHER DOGS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN.

WHAT DOES THIS OUTING OFFER ASIDE FROM LOCATION AND INTRO?

I will provide a printout of The Wonder Compass Mindful Photography Method, to incorporate as a new hobby, creative art and wellness activity. It will include a new software recommendation to turn your images into paintings, or graphics, drawings and many other creative renderings in a very easy-to-use application.

Of Course You are welcome to join all of our outings and hikes - but even with one session you should be set to journey onward and incorporate this practice into your every day life.

This artistic practice is a passionate way to heal inside each day or week. Science supports this activity and all its benefits through the simple act of spending time with nature.

Each day and week, as we set out, camera in hand, we embark on an infinite, silent but powerful act of love.

With this group we learn together, create together, and share after to inspire our daily creations.
