TRIDENT HOUSE LIMITED, a private equity fund manager looking to publish great stories by upcoming authors, is in search of hopeful Thespians to attend its upcoming Fall 2025 Writer's Workshop in Northern Virginia.
Writers should expect careful care in the evaluation of their works by the host and others in the workshop. Likewise, writers will be called upon for their opinion on all works presented for submission. If you've never workshopped your written materials, you do not want to wait any longer to do so. It is an amazing and sometimes life-altering decision and experience.
TRIDENT HOUSE's prime intention is to bring new life to the concept of the Great American Novel, and to do so rapidly. The company operates in all writing media, from short stories to poetry, and is in the production stage, for example, of a screenplay for a television limited series. No matter what you preferred means of written expression, TRIDENT wants to meet you.
JACOB LOTT of Bradenton, Florida will be the host of these events. He is a graduate of fine institutions who eventually became an attorney. He has worked for large law firms and briefly for an investment bank before starting his own legal and business advisory service, which he has owned and operated for the last many years. During his career, he’s taught at a number of American universities, something he wholeheartedly enjoyed. He travels frequently, keeping his interests essentially mobile. He does so, for the most part, alone.
The schedule is to meet weekly from mid-August to the week before Thanksgiving. The first session will be a lecture format followed by twelve consecutive weeks critiquing submissions from the group.
Jacob travels the country in search of new writers for TRIDENT HOUSE's growing stable of talent. He has attended or led a number of writer's workshops in his career, including having been admitted to the Heritage Writer's Workshop during its final term at local George Mason University. He is the author of two novels in the publication process with TRIDENT HOUSE, and the first of these novels will be the company's first fiction publication.
