Reflective writing meeting - Both sides now

Let’s use the public holiday to gather for a relaxed, picnic-style writing session and explore the theme: Both Sides Now.

We’re not only halfway through 2025 — we’re also halfway through the 2020s. Something is behind us, something is ahead. A good time to enjoy the pause the public holiday brings us, relax in the June sun and explore this mid-point through writing.

Whether you’re new to writing or a seasoned pro, this picnic is about the process. We’ll use free writing prompts to explore the theme "Both sides now", then share our words if we’d like.

Bring with you: Something to write with, something to write on, and optionally a prompt of your own connected to the theme that you would like us to explore

Food&Drink: Feel free to bring snacks or drinks for yourself — or grab something nearby.
