Hares: Canada Wet, Saddam. Come join us!

A to A trail with Scottish-style terrain, followed by a small tasting amount of "healthy" Scottish "food".
Bag drop at the start.
Indoor circle if the weather is bad, however true Scots will want to be outside.
There will also be a mini Scottish experimental ceilidh after circle

Where:
See location. Look for Scottish speakers wearing running gear.

When:
We'll meet at 13:50 to start at 14:00.
It’s a fiver (CHF 5) tae join in, but that covers as much bevvy as ye can drink—beer, cider, or softies—plus some scran efterwards.

All Welcome:
Aye, if you're new, curious, and want to get oot the hoose, stretch yer legs, have a good blether, enjoy a wee drink, and hopefully a guid laugh, then here's the score:
* We're a social runnin'/walkin' group. Ye dinnae need to be dead fit, but a sense o' humour is handy.
* The main goal is to find the 'Beer Stop' at the end o' the 'trail' and have a laugh.
* 'True Trail' is usually aboot 4-7 km. Some folk will dae less (especially the wankers or walk/runners), and some speedy buggers will likely go further.
* The 'Hare', who changes every time (along wi' the location), cleverly sets the trail (usually wi' flour marks) so that everyone gets tae the end at roughly the same time.
* There's always a place tae dump yer bag and sometimes a spot tae get changed.
* After the Trail, we all get thegither for aboot 20-40 minutes for bevvies, scran, and a bit o' fun. This 'Circle' is usually ootside, so stick somethin' warm in yer bag in the winter (and bring a torch when it's dark). If standin' aboot drinkin' isnae yer thing, ye can just head hame. Sometimes we all go for a proper meal after.

So, why bother gettin' aff yer warm, dry couch?
If ye enjoy gettin' ootside, bein' roond folk, and daein' somethin' a wee bit different, you'll probably love hashin'. Gettin' a bit o' exercise is important, and this is the least borin' way tae dae it.

'Hashing' and the notion of a wee bit o' exercise to work up a proper thirst has been goin' for nearly 90 years, and ye'll find groups (Hashes) in maist big cities. The banter and 'traditions' can be looked up on the internet – or ye can just come along and see for yersel'. See ye there.
We're a right mix o' nationalities and ages, a proper bunch o' misfits and eejits (at least naebody takes themsel' too seriously!) and we're always happy to see new faces, or 'Virgin Hashers', and visitors fae other groups.
