PhotoTrip to the Gotthard pass

Trip to the Gotthard pass, Saturday, August 23.

Just a 2 ½ hour train and bus ride from Zurich and at 2100 meters above sea level the Gotthard pass will be an ideal place to photograph the stars. There are plenty of other sites to photograph during the day, Including lakes, the Teufelsbrücke and the Tremola mountain road.

The hotel on the pass is affordable but needs to be booked soon as places do get booked over the weekend more quickly. In case the weather looks really bad bookings can be cancelled the Saturday the week before.

There is plenty of parking if you come by car.

Sunset is at 8.30pm moonrise will be at 7.30am
