Dear Friends,
I have some very important news to share with you. A couple of months ago I applied to “National Day Calendar” to have every year, the Sunday before Labor Day, declared officially “National Local Musicians Appreciation Day” to recognize the value and enrichment they provide to all of us in the local community.

I am super happy to report that I have now heard back from “National Day Calendar” and they have approved my application to declare that day an official “National” day. I couldn’t be happier and so happy for all of the local musicians.

I still have a few details and financial obligation to wrap up with them, before it is officially “Official” and will not be official by August 31st of this year but should be in place by 2026.

But in true celebratory spirit and undeterred by delays, I am excited to invite you to the inaugural “Unofficial National Local Musicians Appreciation Day,” taking place this Sunday, August 31st, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Costanera Peruvian Cuisine.

Join us for an evening of dining, dancing, and drinks, accompanied by live music from the talented Vanessa Quillao and Allon Sams. This is a wonderful opportunity to show our support and appreciation for the vibrant community of local musicians.
