About us
Welcome to The Art of Noticing! ✨
Let’s wander through Toulouse together and explore the city in new, unexpected ways. These gatherings are an invitation to play without pressure, to see the familiar with fresh eyes, and to transform our surroundings into a living playground for art, creativity, and imagination.
Visitors of the city are wecome too! This is a chance to (re)discover the city through a different lens — one of curiosity, slowness, and creative connection.
👁️🗨️ What to expect
Through creative writing prompts and artistic experiments, we’ll heighten our awareness of the city, uncover hidden details, and discover beauty in the everyday. It’s less about sightseeing and more about sight-feeling — slowing down, tuning in, and finding inspiration in the streets, corners, and rhythms of Toulouse.
✨ Creative tools
We’ll use writing, drawing, and playful exercises to capture what we notice — not to produce “perfect art,” but to open new pathways of perception and expression.
🦋 Inspiration
These playdates are inspired by Rob Walker’s The Art of Noticing.
They’re also lovingly inspired by The Art of Noticing gatherings by my friend Juanita in Barcelona — if you’re ever there, go check them out! 🌍✨
Less rushing – more slowing down.

Something is unfolding beneath your feet… 🔍👣🌀
Location not specified yetThis time, we turn our attention to the streets of Toulouse — the paths we cross every day without truly seeing.
You’re invited to join a quiet, curious exploration of roads, pavements, and hidden patterns that shape the city from below. Together, we’ll slow down and notice the textures, cracks, lines, and rhythms that usually go unseen — the silent geometry of the streets.
But we won’t just observe — we’ll interact.👁️🗨️ What to expect
We’ll wander gently through the city, pausing to notice what’s beneath us. Through small interventions and playful observation, we’ll explore how even the most ordinary street can hold endless variation and beauty. No experience required — just curiosity and a willingness to look down, slow down, and see differently.
See you soon, and in the meantime, I wish you a beautiful start of April ✨
