On the back of the How Would You Build It podcast, we would like to bring more Product conversations to the community. So it is an absolute pleasure to announce we have an international speaker and author coming to Cape Town to share his insights on building Product around the world.

It is our honour to announce Joaquim Torres joining us at Specno on July 29th. Joaquim will speak about 4 core principles of a strong product culture, and how these help to make your business thrive.

His talk will be based on his latest book called "Digital Transformation and Product Culture". He generously offered to raffle a few of his books to people at our Meetup.

Joaquim brings a wealth of experience from more than 30 years of leading product organizations in his home country Brazil. He authored four books on product topics and has been thinking deeply about what makes product teams and products successful. It's rare to meet people who have been doing product work that long, and will be a treat to be able to ask him questions.

We'll also be dive into Joca's lessons he's learnt travelling Europe on his book tour. We want to uncover where South Africa lies in comparison to our European and South American counterparts.
