Learning and Morals

If you like that kind of thing there is something good about sharing opinions with others who have similar interests.
The Examined Life, "Let's Discuss..." session is an open discussion, monthly if possible, and as regularly as rooms are available to house up to around 25 such individuals in comfort and with food and drink available at the bar.
If you do like this kind of thing, you will hopefully be able to engage dialectically with other equally opinionated individuals in a polite and informative way, having read or at least scanned some books, so that each individual leaves with more than they brought. The title of the Examined Life could equally well be The Examined Self. Think educational therapy more than arguments!

The Hoop & Grapes serves teas, coffees, alcohol and food. It has a comfortable function room on the first and second floors for private discussions and events.

Please RSVP if you can commit to attending and change your RSVP if something comes up. Inaccurate RSVPs can make it difficult to cope with room sizes and bookings.
