In her Recent book Existential Physics, the physicist Sabine Hossenfelder, whose work popularising her work, I admire, ventures into philosophy in the way Hegel suggested we should not venture and Sean Carroll into theology. This is to assume explaining philosophical issues is as if philosophy is simply a matter of opinion. I have Hossenfelders book [Hossenfelder S, Existential Physics, Atlantic Books, 2022] and the Hegel [Hegel GWF, 1807, Phenomenology of Mind, Harper Torchbooks, 1967] so we can see what the issue might be like for those who appear to talk about the problem I call Hegel's Foot - can feet make shoes?
