Let's Discuss... Can states make moral decisions?
Details
In a world where governments and religion are separate, and society isn't guided by religion, we have a few questions:
Considering that power corrupts, can governments make morally good decisions?
If we want our government to dictate what is right and wrong, would that make the government behave like a religious structure?
Can governments effectively establish moral guidelines for society in the absence of religious guidance?
