Let's Discuss... TAX!
Details
In this event we will talk about taxes and whether they are a fair way to fund society. Taxes are important for running governments, but many people wonder if the system is fair and if there are better ways to raise money to pay for our social institutions.
What makes a tax system "fair"? Is fairness based on income, wealth, or something else?
How much tax is too much tax? What is the fairness of taxes?
Could taxation be voluntary and what are the downside of that?
