Let's Discuss... Persona!
Details
Persona can be defined as: The version of yourself you present to others that come from a mix of chosen traits and social expectations.
It's normal to act differently around different social groups. But sometimes we lose ourselves in the persona, and it creates a feedback loop, others expect that version of us, so we keep performing it. There is a fine line between your true self and parts you build for a you performative personality for social cohesion.
Are we pretending who we are not?
How do you know you are being your true self?
What are the benefits and down fall of putting on a persona?
Which version of you shows up when you are alone?
