Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff

Exta Book Club Meeting: Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff
Join us for a dark and epic journey into the blood-soaked world of Empire of the Vampire, a grimdark fantasy steeped in gothic lore, holy wars, and eternal night. Jay Kristoff weaves a tale of grit, faith, and defiance, following Gabriel de León—the last of the half-vampire Silversaints—as he recounts his life from idealist novice to legendary monster hunter while waiting to be executed by the very creatures he swore to destroy. Expect brutal action, dark magic, and a story that explores the tension between light, darkness, and a dying humanity.

Whether you’re drawn to razor-sharp wit, morally gray antiheroes, or lush and visceral world-building, this meeting is the perfect opportunity to explore the themes, tragic legends, and mysteries of Kristoff’s atmospheric creation and share your thoughts with fellow readers 🗡️

And don’t worry if you didn’t quite finish all 700+ pages—you're still warmly welcome to join! Come for the conversation, listen in, share your thoughts, and connect with fellow readers 📚
