This workshop is not about perfection or “being artistic.”

It’s about letting go, trying something new, and watching color do unexpected, beautiful things.
We’ll gather at a local park for a relaxed, outdoor pour painting experience designed especially for beginners. No art experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to experiment.

During this 90-minute workshop, you’ll create a coordinated set of four 8×10 pour paintings, each using a different beginner-friendly technique. You’ll choose your own color palette, and the same colors will be used across all four pours so the finished pieces work together as a display-ready collection.

### We’ll explore:

🎨 Dirty pour (including how to create cells)
🎨 Dutch pour (blowing the paint for soft movement)
🎨 Strainer pour
🎨 String pull

All paint will be pre-mixed for you to keep the experience simple and stress-free. We’ll start with a short overview of how pour painting works, how paint is mixed, and how cells are created — then jump right in.
This is messy, fun, and surprisingly calming. Every piece turns out differently, and that’s exactly the point.

• All paint, medium, tools, gloves, and supplies

• Four 8×10 canvas panels

• Guided instruction for each technique

• Pizza boxes to safely transport your wet paintings home

• A relaxed, supportive atmosphere — no experience needed

Half the magic of these workshops is sharing the experience with other women — many of whom are trying something new or attending their first Adventure Ladies event. Sometimes the hardest part is simply showing up, and this is a great place to start.
