Panel two: How can we future-proof ourselves?

Details

After the success of our May event on 'How can our digital self benefit from AI?'. We are excited to announce our next event 'How can we future-proof ourselves?' taking place on Thursday 20th September at Monzo Bank HQ.

Are we preparing for our future?

We all have something that we can contribute and add value to, what would that be in the world of AI? Now, that our every day is being put into question; What could the future of work look like for all of us? And what could we be teaching the next generation so that they are too future-ready?

Government and business have stated that; "many jobs will be enhanced by AI, many will disappear and many new, as yet unknown jobs, will be created. Significant Government investment in skills and training will be necessary to mitigate the negative effects of AI. Retraining will become a lifelong necessity."

Lifelong learning will now take on a new perspective and start to re-shape the way we see the world and can begin to question every generation that contributes to the world of work; what do we want our world of work to look like? What types of jobs would you like created?

Panel two will explore and examine Work 4.0;

  1. How much do we need to invest in future-proofing ourselves?
  2. What tools & technology should we invest in today, to prepare for the challenges of tomorrow?
  3. What could the augmentation of AI look like for humans and the world of work? e.g., more time with our families or pursue other interests?
