NY resolution 14: going for a crisp winter walk :-)

Join us for a crisp winter walk through the beautiful Polders van Kruibeke!

We will meet for a refreshing 2-hour loop through the largest flood area in Flanders. Expect wide-open views, potential winter scenery, and the chance to spot some local wildlife (perhaps even the famous beaver or roe deer).

This walk is aimed at people who enjoy getting outdoors in winter conditions (weather forecast: 3 to -2 degrees and SNOWING (yessss!)). We will keep a steady but conversational pace — perfect for clearing your head after the NY celebrations :-)

The Route:

• Terrain: Flat (poldergebied), but can be muddy or snowy this time of year.
• Distance: Approximately 8km.
• Duration: We will aim to be back at the starting point within 2 hours.
• Possibly, the nearby yacht club is open and we can have a drink afterwards. (and if not, depending on the crowd size, I might bring some hot chocolate)
