Craig Jobbins: Digital Defense: Protecting You & Your Apple Devices in the Age of Hacks and Data Requests.
Join us for an eye-opening talk that dives deep into the future of digital security, privacy, and personal protection. We’ll explore Apple’s Advanced Data Protection (ADP) and the recent UK ban that has sparked global debate about government access versus user privacy. You’ll also learn who is FIDO, and how new authentication is replacing vulnerable passwords. And don't you love the bio pic, in keeping with the security/privacy theme!
With phone theft on the rise, we’ll examine Apple’s new Stolen Device Protection and how it safeguards your most sensitive information. We’ll also shine a light on the growing number of government data requests, revealing just how often tech companies are asked to hand over user information. Add to your quiver about how to keep your digital life safe.
