The Articulate Society is an online English speaking club for adults who want more than “What’s your favorite movie?” Every week we meet on video to explore real conversations about work, ethics, technology, culture and personal growth, and we build confidence by using English for ideas that matter.

### How our 60-minute online session works

• Arrival chat: meet one other member in a private breakout room and talk through one provocative question. No awkward silence, no pressure.
• Power Words: four useful phrases and idioms to try during the session, shared on screen and in the chat
• Debate Lab: small breakout groups tackle big questions, with rotating roles (Advocate, Challenger, Synthesizer)
• Cross-Pollination: new groups, new perspectives, new people
• Open Floor: a hosted, talk-show-style discussion with everyone together
• Wins & Upgrades: friendly feedback that polishes what you said instead of correcting what you got wrong. Your upgraded phrases go into the chat so you can save them.
