Afterwork English Networking is back on Tuesday, and the venue is worth the trip on its own. Casa Jazmin is a beautiful old German-built house in Barrio San Jorge, near Paseo La Galería Mall, since converted into a bar, café and restaurant.
Same evening as always. Turn up from six, take a name badge, talk to people in English. No ticket, no sign-up, no guest list, and drinks at normal bar prices.
Half the room comes on their own. So if you walk in and recognise nobody, you’re in the majority. Say so at the door and someone will introduce you.
Paraguayan, foreign, or somewhere in between. Wherever you learnt your English, you’re invited.
