Curious about theater? Looking to share new experiences with a group? Then our theater workshop is for you!

Working with short scenes from The Seagull by Chekhov, we will explore different translations of this classic play.

In small groups, participants will first read the text in various languages (English, French, German, Spanish…) and then perform it in Luxembourgish. The influences of the other languages are welcome to flow into the performance, allowing everyone to approach the text freely and creatively.

This workshop is open to everyone between 15 and 99, with or without previous theater experience.

The goal is to learn to express emotions both in one’s own language and in Luxembourgish, and to have fun!

📅 Friday, September 26, 2026 (9:00, 11:00, and 14:30)
📍 National Library
Duration: 2 hours
💶 Free of charge

The workshop is led by Thierry Mousset and Mathieu Delaveau as part of the National Day of the Luxembourgish Language and Multilingualism.
