About us
Love movies? Join TheaterEars for free and exclusive movie experiences right here in the Fox River Valley — no trip downtown required.
TheaterEars is a free mobile app that lets you enjoy the big screen your way, using your own phone and headphones at participating theaters. This group is your inside line to local TheaterEars events, including:
🎬 Director’s Experience screenings — watch the film with English director commentary in your ear, for a behind-the-scenes look at how the movie was made.
🎧 Spanish-language screenings — enjoy new releases with Spanish audio, right alongside friends and family watching in English.
🍿 Free promotional screenings and early-access events with our theater partners.
We host events throughout the Fox River corridor in Kane and Kendall counties, including Elgin, South Elgin, St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, North Aurora, Aurora, Montgomery, Oswego, Yorkville, and nearby communities.
Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a film buff, a family looking for a night out, or a bilingual household that wants a movie everyone can enjoy together. Join to get first notice of upcoming screenings, RSVP for free seats, and meet fellow moviegoers in the western suburbs.
¡Bienvenidos! Spanish speakers are welcome. This is a group for everyone.
