With a tuneful, groovy, mid-1960s score by Cy Coleman, sparkling lyrics by Dorothy Fields, and a hilarious book by Neil Simon, Sweet Charity captures all the energy, humor, and heartbreak of Life in the Big City for an unfortunate but irrepressible optimist. Musical numbers include: “Big Spender,” “If My Friends Could See Me Now,” and “I’m a Brass Band.”

There is also a free parking garage located in the Wheaton Parking Garage, 232 Wesley St. about a block form the theater. It is a short walk through a convenient path that empties out almost directly in front of the theater.
